Best Medication, Foam and Acne Scar Home

All of us with acne problems want to know what the best acne medication is to treat the causes of acne breakouts. Finding an acne medication that Works without damaging your skin or making the acne worse can be very difficult and frustrating with all of the acne treatment products out there. I research the best acne medications reviewing not just the hype, but the FACTS, customer reviews and ratings, Satisfaction, and customer service, as well as any guarantees, risk-free trials, etc. Remember that the most effective acne treatment is based on your type and severity of acne. Acne medications and treatments work differently for everyone, and if a treatment doesn’t work as well as it use to, it’s because you need to alternate treatments, because your system becomes ‘immune’ against it. You also need to treat the acne for two to three months before switching to get the best results possible.

If you have chronic (ongoing) or severe acne, the best acne medication may be a . There are some over the counter acne medications that may work, as well. I review acne medication product power, speed, effectiveness, quality, safety, value and customer satisfaction at impartial governmental and medical sites like the FDA

. I’ll briefly review the foam acne treatment and an acne scar here, as well.

Foam Acne Treatment Review

I’ll list a few foam acne treatment reviews by customers, though some have very few reviews, so I don’t like to put a lot of weight on them. Some of the foam acne treatment products I see a lot of information on are:

Acne Scar Home Treatment

You don’t have to spend a lot of money for a Name to treat your acne. And an alternative is trying an acne scar home treatment. I’ll list some here, and I have many more at this site:

  • Vitamin E is one of the best acne scar home treatments to get rid of scars within a few weeks and gives you glowing skin
  • Use honey several times a day to reduce scarring and help your skin glow
  • Apply cucumber juice to the acne scars for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water
  • Mix cucumber and tomato juice and apply it to your face. Tomatoes have antioxidant properties and helps , and strengthen the immune system. Both . Wash your face first removing all traces of makeup or other materials. Apply for 20–30 minutes and rinse
  • Massage coconut oil to
  • for acne and scars
  • Egg whites are used as an
  • Wheat germ can be taken regularly. It contains the required nutrients and supplements to help nourish your skin
  • (in other posts). Apply with cotton and leave for 10 minutes and rinse, but you should use sunscreen while using this
  • with baking soda. It’s also used in micro dermabrasion acne treatments. Mix 1 tablespoon baking soda with water and apply. Keep it on for 60 seconds and wash off. Use to maintain moisture after this. It helps with smoothness, elasticity and suppleness
  • gives your skin Vitamin C, which is very important in skin health as well as overall systemic health. You can apply some of the fruits like pineapple or papaya and pineapple to

There are many acne scar home treatments, and you can find more at this site.

To find the best acne medication for your , first determine skin type, acne type and severity, and you’ll be most of the way there. Then compare and select the best for your needs and priorities. A foam acne treatment or acne scar home treatment may be helpful for you, as well, but the same rules apply. I would suggest “testing” any of them on a small area of your skin to make sure your skin isn’t too sensitive or allergic to the treatment.

What’s the Best Scar ? Homeopathic and Sulfur Acne

There are so many acne scar treatments available today, how do we know what the best acne scar treatment is?  The first thing you need to identify is what type of acne you have and how severe it is.  Then you can narrow down the best acne scar treatments available and review them; customer ratings, impartial acne scar treatment review sites, check ingredients for allergens, money back guarantees, free trials, free shipping, etc.

I’ve talked a lot about what you can do for home acne treatments and .  Today I’m focusing on the types of acne scar treatments, and will include some homeopathic acne treatments, including the sulfur .

You need to know your skin type to choose the best acne scar treatment for your specific skin type.  Here’s a chart that indicates the types of acne scar treatment products, what skin type they’re designed for, moisturizing, irritation, coverage and comments.

Product Base Skin Type Moisturizer Irritation Coverage Comments
Gels Normal, Oily Less Medium Small Some gels include Dimethicone and Glycerin, which improves moisturizing
Ointment Normal, Dry Medium Less Small A little greasy
Creams Normal, Oily Medium Medium Middle Absorbs into the skin very quickly, not very greasy
Foams Normal, Oily Low Medium Large High prices
Alcohol Solution Oily Less High Large Evaporates very quickly
Aqeuous Solution Normal, Dry High Very Less Large Water-based and alcohol-free
Lotions Any High Medium Large If it has Propylene Glycol, it can dry your skin

Many acne scar treatment products don’t completely clear up all acne and acne scarring, and you have to remember to use one treatment at a time for a few weeks before trying another, so it has enough time to work  and you’ll see the results before moving on.  Also remember that many times if you’ve used an acne scar treatment product for a long period of time, it may start to fade in its treatment.  The best way to treat acne and acne scars long-term is to alternate the best acne scar treatments you can find every so many months to get the best results long-term.  This can include the moisturizers, cleansers, exfoliators, etc.

Homeopathic Acne Treatments and Sulfur Acne Treatment

homeopathic acne treatment

Homeopathy means that it treats you as a whole, focusing on the person and pathological condition.   Homeopathic acne treatments and sulfur acne treatments should be selected after a full examination and analysis, physically and mentally, as your emotions, stresses and depression greatly affect the breakouts.  NOTE:  This is not a complete or definite guide to homeopathic acne treatment.   The symptoms listed may or may not be directly related, because general symptoms and other measures are all taken into account.  Note that many homeopathic acne treatment medicines should NOT be taken without a qualified professional’s advice.

Here are some good homeopathic acne treatments and sulfur acne treatment:

Homeopathic Acne Treatments

  • Silicea: For acne formed deep below the skin surface and your body has very low resistance to fight it.  If you have this kind of infection, you’ll sweat a lot through the night.
  • Sulphur acne treatment:  If the acne itches a lot and is getting red very often, this reduces the itching.
  • Hepar Sulphuris Calcarem:  If it takes a long time for your acne to heal and it ruptures with a lot of pain, this is effective.
  • Antimonium Tartarium:  Good if there’s a lot of  pus coming out of your acne scars.  This kind of infection may include bluish red marks on your skin.
  • Calcarea Carbonica:  Good if you have very frequently.  Note that this usually happens for those who have a lot of sweets, because they actually heat the body up, so there are more frequent .

In homeopathic acne treatment,  the dosage of the medicine means a lot.  It’s usually doctor-specified, and depends on the severity of your breakouts or infection.  Homeopathic acne treatments take time and don’t always give you 100% relief  right away.  You need to be patient, but they are very effective.  Some homeopathic acne treatments and sulfur acne treatments don’t have side effects and are safe, but it’s always best to talk to your Dermatologist before taking any kind of acne scar treatment medication.

The best acne scar treatment starts with You — your cleansing and moisturizing regimen, diet, stress level, etc.  There are many types of acne scar treatments available, including topical, oral, body detoxification and cleansing (removing toxins which cause acne), the homeopathic acne treatments or sulfur acne treatment above, and educational resources like reputable books and ebooks that clearly explain the medical cause and treatment of various types of acne breakouts, or medicine by a Dermatologist.  This is always recommended if you have chronic (ongoing long-term) acne breakouts or scarring.

What’s Your Story?

Feel free to share your Honest acne scar treatment and/or product experiences, and help us provide as much accurate information on this site as possible.  Let others learn from your experiences and help us stop others from getting ripped off by all the “scams” out there.   THANK YOU — We appreciate your honest and open contribution!

Adult and Adult Home Treatments

Guthy Renker Corporation

Adolescents, teenagers and adults all suffer from the , which is a result of too much sebum. Sebum produced by your skin’s sebaceous glands is an oily substance. If you have too much sebum, it can clog pores which attracts bacteria, and can lead to an infection. There are quite a few natural teenage and treatments available, and you should try those before spending a bunch of money on expensive prescriptions or medicines.

Adult Acne

Some things you can do as a natural teenage or adult acne home is to:

  1. Bathe or shower daily using a mild anti-bacterial soap.
  2. Wash your face at least twice a day with a mild cleanser.
  3. Avoid hot water because it can dry the skin.
  4. You can use an oil free moisturizer. Moisturizers are important for healthy skin.
  5. A balanced, nutritional diet can help reduce acne. Make sure it includes drinking plenty of water to flush your system, and eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.

There are quite a few ingredients you might find in your kitchen to help treat acne:

  • applied with a cotton ball helps remove bacteria
  • Oatmeal is a great exfoliant. It’s gentle and removes the dead skin cells. Mix some with water and gently scrub and rinse

  • Use and water as a face wash. helps remove excess oil
  • treatment reduces “P. acnes” and removes dead skin cells to prevent “comedones. It was one of the first ingredients found to be effective in treating mild acne, and has been used for decades. It can really dry the skin, so increase usage little by little, following directions. It can also “bleach”, so use old towels or wear older clothes when using it. You can use the acne treatment benzoyl peroxide treatment after your acne clears to prevent new acne lesions from forming.

There are quite a few teen and adult acne home treatments you can use, and there are many , including the acne treatment benzoyl peroxide cleansing. Just do your research, and increase ingredients little by little to find what works best for you. If your acne doesn’t clear or gets worse, you should see a dermatologist to make sure nothing more serious is going on.

Natural Acne Scar Treatment: Body Acne Treatment and Natural Acne Cures

Natural Scar and Body Treatment

To me, a  is the best way to go, because you’re not putting a lot of man-made (synthetic) chemicals and unknown ingredients into your skin or body.  You can find a quality and .  Acne scars are something that most of us have experienced, some more severe than others.  It can be embarrassing and affect your self esteem.  However, it’s not something you have to live with forever.  Depending on the type of acne you have, you can use concealers and temporary , but they don’t help clear your .  You can use a natural acne scar treatment at home to help clear your acne and acne scars permanently.  There are also natural and recipes that can help.

Natural Acne Scar Treatments and Body Acne Treatments

There are natural body s you can also use on your back, chest and other body parts.  Some natural acne scar treatments and body acne treatments are:

  • treatment: Tea tree oil has been proven to be very powerful as an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral.  It’s extracted from the leaves of an Australian tree, and has been used for acne, body odor, cold sores, bad breath and athlete’s foot.  It’s effective in killing the acne bacteria without possible damage from treatments like acne treatment.  It can reduce the symptoms of inflammation, but some may be sensitive to it, as with anything.  I suggest using 100% pure tea tree oil diluted in pure aloe vera gel.  Add a drop or two at first for each ounce of aloe.

Another natural acne scar treatment and body acne treatment you can do at home is to:

  • Use a soft cloth, warm water and gentle facial cleanser, and gently cleanse your face or other problem area every morning and night
    • Splash rinse and gently pat it dry with a towel
  • Use a good topical acne medicine like benzoyl peroxide (fights bacteria) or salicylic acid (helps unclog pores)
  • Use sunscreen and avoid too much sun, especially if you have sensitive skin
  • Use non-comodogenic makeup for acne prone skin, and products that are oil free
  • If you shave, shave in one direction and not too often using a shaving cream that has benzoyl peroxide
  • Don’t squeeze, pinch or pop acne, whiteheads, blackheads or other forms of acne as it causes scarring internally as well as externally, damaging the tissue
  • Keep products with oil, etc. that may aggravate it away from your skin, including hair products, holding your phone against your face, etc.
  • Depending on the type of acne you have, you may have to see a Dermatologist
  • You need to be patient, because other than a new FDA approved blue light acne treatment for mild to moderate acne, you can’t get rid of pimples overnight.

Natural Acne Cures

Besides the tea trea oil acne treatment above, some other natural acne cures are:

  • Aloe Vera.  Aloe Vera is a very natural acne cure for acne.  It has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties and can also be taken internally, which helps cleanse and detoxify the system to help clear your skin.
  • Zinc can be taken in capsule form.  It strengthens the immune system which helps repair the skin.
  • Vitamin A acne cure promotes healthy skin
  •  is a natural antioxidant, beneficial to your skin

Other natural homemade acne cures you can do yourself at home to counteract acne are to:

  • Drink a lot of water.  It helps cleanse your system and skin and keep it hydrated.  Fresh fruit and leafy vegetables also help improve your skin.
  • Pure Tomato Pulp Facial Mask.  Before you shower or bathe, apply a mixture of pure tomato pulp (not packaged), rose water and to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes, then wash off.
  • Cream, Glycerine and .  You can apply a mixture of cream, glycerine and lemon juice to your face and keep it on for 15–20 minutes before washing

Another natural acne scar treatment option that has been very successful for acne sufferers is Acne Free in 3 Days.  Some of my visitors have tried it, and it’s received rave reviews.  It shows you what you can do to naturally eliminate acne for good.  Here’s some feedback I received from one of my customers on the product:

"Well I’m making an appointment to visit my family dr. to discuss testing for the Candida Yeast. That seems to be the issue. I loved the book and found it most informative. I was able to identify with Chris 100%. I have since changed my diet and have been avoiding all the things that seem to contribute to the problem...  I did start taking the things he indicated... and my skin looks clearer. I actually haven’t had more than 2 pimples in over a week now. I’m very grateful that I was able to find this book on your site. It’s been the answer I was looking for, for over 2 decades."  Carley Dorney, 32, Easton PA
Using a natural acne scar treatment or body acne treatment is the best way to go, as well as a variety of natural acne cures and natural homemade acne treatments.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I'd be happy to help you.

Acne Treatments That Work: Acne Treatment During Pregnancy and a Cystic Acne Home Remedy

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

You see all these ads on tv, in magazines and on the internet that says they’re the new greatest thing for acne .  You may have tried some or all of them and still can’t find acne treatments that work, or it may have stopped working.  What you have to realize is that everyone’s skin is different, and depending on the type of acne you have, it may take more than one type of treatment or continued treatment to get the results you want.  But, as Dr. Crutchfield. Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Minnesota Medical School says, there is a solution for every acne sufferer.

The breakouts are hormonal changes which cause too much production of oil (sebum) and cells in your skin follicles, which blocks the pore and swells.  This causes inflammation, and you’ll get whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, etc.  They’re now talking about that work to target that inflammatory response.

There are many acne treatments to choose from that fit in two categories:

  • Pore cleansers which prevent the blockage and
  • products that reduce production of the oil or hormones

Pore cleansers are , because they contain salicylic acid and/or .  For some people, that’s all that’s needed, especially if it isn’t causing acne scars.  Find two to three products you like and rotate them every two or three months. They’re more effective this way, because acne will build a resistance to them.

The you see advertised on tv, in magazines and on the internet are acne treatments that work because they have the added benefit of a skin care regime, which you need.  Dr. Crutchfield did say that the Zeno acne clearing device, a heated electronic “zit zapper” and FDA approved, works for 60–70% of the acne sufferers.  But they indicated that it’s really only for mild , periodic breakouts, or to keep your acne under control.

If your acne continues to be a problem, you should see a Dermatologist.

acne treatment pregnancy

Most of the anti acne products used by non-pregnant women should not be used as an acne treatment during pregnancy; or, you should consult with your physician.  Some of these products and ingredients are:

  • Accutane
  • Tetracycline
  • Retin-A
  • Salicylic acid and possibly even
  • Benzoyl Peroxide

You should always consult your OB-GYN before using any acne treatment during pregnancy, whether over-the-counter or prescription.

You can find a cystic acne home remedy, as there are quite a few to choose from, and the products and ingredients you use are inexpensive and available in your home.  Some of the most common remedies are:

  • .  It helps prevent acne, and is known to be very helpful as a cystic acne cure.  Mix 1/2 teaspoon with water to make a thick paste.  Apply it to the affected area and leave it on for about 15 minutes.  Rinse with cool water.
  • Potatoes.  Potatoes contain alkaline, which helps break the oils down.  Slice a raw potato in half and rub the juice on the area.  You can leave it one for 1/2 hour and rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Eggs.   are known to be very effective as a cystic .  You can add a few drops of , and it will also soothe the affected area.

Natural Product

homemade acne scar treatment

Many of us get zits, and some of us get more than others.  But almost no one escapes puberty or other hormonal changes without dealing with a flare-up now and then.  As I’ve talked about before, things like stress, diet, genetics, life style and environment are .  You can successfully manage and treat most breakouts.  There are some things to be aware of before buying an , over the counter acne product, or medicine:

  • Know your skin type.  If you have oily skin, get a gel based acne natural product.  If you have dry skin, you can get a cream.  If you have combination skin, get a product that works best for the affected areas.
  • If you have sensitive skin, you want a lower concentration of the active ingredient in the acne product.  If it’s too strong, it can make your acne worse, irritate or damage your skin, or even increase oil production.  You want a mild formula.
  • Some mild creams can be used as a preventative, but most acne treatment creams are too strong to use before you feel or see a zit.  Apply it to the more acne prone areas or acne you already have.

Natural acne products contain natural organic ingredients like plant extracts.  They soothe the affected areas and help dry up the pimples.  Most of these products have natural ingredients like , aloe vera, grapeseed oil and essential oils.  They soothe the redness and irritation, and moisturize the acne prone areas.  However, just because these products are doesn’t mean that they’re mild or won’t irritate your skin.  If you have sensitive skin, you should test the product, and if you have an allergic reaction, stop using any product immediately.

Most are not natural, they’re synthetic.  These products contain unnatural, scientifically altered ingredients that may damage your skin, body and system.  The best is a 100% natural organic product with natural extracts from plant sources, etc.

acne free in 3 days how does it workThe best way to treat your acne naturally and permanently to kill the acne causing toxins and bacteria is from the inside out, at its source.  The way to do this is by detoxifying your body, flushing these toxins from your sytem.  One acne treatment product that’s had great results is by Chris Gibson.  The Acne Free in 3 Days ebook tells you exactly what to do and what not to do to cleanse your system and get rid of the acne causing toxins and bacteria in as little as three days they say.  I’ve done a lot of research on this product, and one of my visitors tried after reading my Acne Free in 3 Days Review, and this is what she had to say:

“I loved the book and found it most informative. I was able to identify with Chris 100%. I have since changed my diet and have been avoiding all the things… that seem to contribute to the problem…  I did start taking the… things Chris said, and my skin looks clearer. I actually haven’t had more than 2 pimples in over a week now. I’m very grateful that I was able to find this book on your site. It’s been the answer I was looking for, for over 2 decades.” Carly Dorney, 32, PA

This is personal feedback to me from an Acne Free in 3 Days user after visiting my site, and her response was amazing since she hadn’t found anything that worked in over ten years!  Although I thoroughly research these products before promoting them, her feedback was a confirmation of what I thought following my research.

Acne Free in 3 Days has a “more than” 60 Day Risk Free 100% Money Back Guarantee, so if you decide you don’t want it or it doesn’t work for you, you’ll get a full refund.  It’s inexpensive, and Chris offers several bonuses in addition to his Acne Free in 3 Days book or ebook.  You get immediate access, and you can view many real customer reviews and results at their site by clicking on the book above.  If you decide to try it, I’d love to hear your feedback, as well so I can continue to receive actual customer results and feedback, good or bad.

My preference is always acne natural products and natural acne solutions, because there are no questionable or altered ingredients that you don’t know what they’ll do to your system.  I believe natural acne products made from all natural organic sources are the best if they’re truly 100% natural and organic.  As I’ve said, one of the is a body detoxification product as above, because it gets rid of the causes of acne breakouts at the source — in your system.  It’s a great way to cleanse your body and system to get rid of the acne causing bacteria and toxins, you can do it fairly often to maintain skin and body health, and maintain an acne free complexion.  Natural acne solutions are always the best.
