Causes of Acne Breakouts: Skin Care Acne Cosmetic Products and Adult Acne Products
October 8th, 2009 | Author: JulieCauses of Acne Breakouts
It’s that time again to talk about the causes of acne breakouts, but this time I’m going to go into skin care acne cosmetic products and adult acne products that help you minimize the causes of breakouts as well as help your skin health and clear your skin. From my other posts, you know several causes of acne breakouts, including heredity, diet, hormonal changes, oily or heavy makeup, abrasive cleansers, environment, etc., so I won’t go into that again.
There are some other causes you may not be aware of, including water retention and toxins in the blood and lymph areas. If your liver or kidneys are overloaded and aren’t cleansing the blood properly, the liver’s unable to “deactivate” ‘used’ hormones and remove them from the body. That’s what causes blocked whiteheads in hair follicles, etc. You need to balance your hormones by giving your body key nutrients that help hormonal regulation in the glands and liver. This is key in treating and preventing acne. Five of the key nutrients to provide your body to fight acne are vitamins A and E which I’ve discussed before, Zinc, Selenium, and Chromium.
Now I’m going to review what types of acne products and cosmetic products you should use to reduce or eliminate acne, and what types of products make it worse.
Skin Care Acne Cosmetic Products
It’s said that acne affects approximately 30% of cosmetic wearers, which I would believe would be even higher, and it affects people of all ages, genders, skin types and racial backgrounds. You need to be very careful when using cosmetics if you’re trying to treat acne. Using the wrong kind will make your acne worse, prolong it, and cause even more damage.
“Acne cosmetica” is a condition from wearing cosmetics that help promote clogged pores. Other products that can do this are some lotions, creams, sunscreen or tanning products. Many use makeup to conceal their acne, and could be making it worse if they’re not using the right products. If you use makeup, you need to have a daily cleansing routine as I’ve discussed before to get rid of harmful ingredients and chemicals, layers, oils and bacteria promoting ingredients. You should always remove makeup and any type of product or ingredient from the skin before going to bed at night. There are helpful exfoliators, cleansers and adult acne products that will help treat your acne overnight. But, generally you should gently remove products from your skin and let it breathe at night. For topical acne treatment products to work, they must be able to absorb into the skin.

There are light, all natural water and mineral based skin care acne cosmetic products that work very well and are much healthier for your skin. They’re the best because they help keep your skin hydrated and healthy, and won’t clog the pores. They’ll help clear acne prone skin instead of making it worse. It feels like you’re not even wearing makeup, and I think you look younger, more radiant, fresh and vibrant. Any of these products must be free of oils, synthetic (man-made) chemicals and ingredients.
Adult Acne Products
As far as adult acne products go, depending on what type of acne treatment product you’re looking for, such as:
- Natural diet detoxification system to cure acne from the inside out like “Acne Free in Three Days“
- Natural acne clearing system or caplets to clear acne from its source like Acnezine Acne Skin Care System
- Quality topical acne scar treatments or acne spot treatments like Mederma Acne Scar Gel,
You want quality, natural products with satisfaction and money back guaranteed.
Regardless of the causes of acne breakouts, or what adult acne products or skin care acne cosmetics you use, you need to continue a good skin care regimen and diet, because your skin and body react accordingly. As always, if you have severe or chronic acne or other skin related problems, I always encourage you to see a dermatologist to properly diagnose the cause and treatment.
